Growing Projects
Growing Hope projects should help raise awareness about hunger and malnutrition around the world and here at home in Cayuga County, and foster an appreciation for the role American farmers play in local and global food security.
Growing Hope Cayuga seeks to support youth-led Growing Hope projects. Youth are encouraged to take responsibility for planning their growing projects and recruiting volunteers and partners to support implementation such as farmers, faith-based institutions, municipalities, school districts, private businesses, emergency food providers, and civic organizations. Collaboration with Growing Hope Globally, a nonprofit faith-based organization advancing lasting solutions to hunger worldwide, is encouraged for projects focused on global hunger.
